The Estate Narrative -
Grounded in Craft

THE BRIEF

Wine marketing in India frequently encounters a structural creative roadblock: it easily collapses into unapproachable, overly pretentious visual language. When Paul John Distilleries looked to elevate Big Banyan Wines, their objective wasn’t simply to capture bottles on a shelf. They needed to make the sophisticated world of vineyard heritage, tasting profiles, and fine dining accessible to an evolving demographic of modern Indian consumers; without diluting their standing as a premium luxury label.

For digital distribution channels spanning high-intent D2C consumers and B2B hospitality partners, this brand film has served as the definitive cornerstone of Big Banyan’s product identity for the last seven years.

Instead of chasing fleeting social media trends that age within a week, we designed a timeless, asset-heavy visual anchor. We took a deliberate detour from the hyper-fast, fragmented pacing of modern digital ads to mirror the real art, patience, and slowness inherent to premium winemaking. Our production crews spent 6 months capturing the unhurried lifecycle of the vineyard—the slow condensation forming on seasoned oak barrels, the precise, manual harvesting of the grapes under the morning sun, and the quiet, geometric beauty of the aging cellars. By treating the film as a cinematic documentary rather than a commercial product placement, we gave the liquid the gravitas it deserves.

A singular, master visual investment that has sustained seven consecutive years of cross-channel digital distribution, structurally lowering long-term content production costs while consistently expanding market share across both consumer and commercial wholesale pipelines.
